Mandy Smith is a Gallup Certified Strength coach who has over 10 years experience working in government, along with 5 years experience running a corporate training and development business overseas. Her areas of focus are leadership and talent development, change management, performance management and organisational/ team performance.
Mandy’s career in government includes leadership roles in local government, working for the City of Salisbury, Adelaide and most recently Unley. In addition to this she has worked as a State Government Minister’s Policy Officer, and in the Department of Premiers and Cabinet. She is currently employed as the Manager Community Development at Unley City Council where she leads and manages 19 staff across 5 locations.
In 2007 Mandy and her Business Partner Jodie Johnston established a successful corporate training and development department at Eton Institute-Dubai, and within 5 years, Eton became a leading corporate training provider in the United Arab Emirates. She spent 5 years in the Middle East developing content, material and methodology and delivering high quality training and leadership development programs to numerous government, multinational and local clients.
Mandy’s training is unique and high energy. She has a strong belief that learning only occurs when people are in an active state and can relate learning their current situation. Mandy uses a strength based training approach. She facilitates learning by helping clients to recognize their strengths and talents and developing strategies to bring out the great energy and talents of individuals, teams and organizations.
Jodi Johnston is a highly qualified, professionally recognized and internationally accredited Gallup Certified Strength Coach and Corporate Trainer/Presenter with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Myers-Briggs Certification, qualifications in business, sales and education and a 15 year successful track record teaching and delivering training and coaching programs in the USA, Canada, the Middle East and Asia.
Utilizing a highly versatile, interactive teaching methodology, Jodi presents with confidence, enthusiasm, conviction and naturalness and has the ability to connect to and capture any audience. She compels a powerful, effective and lively rapport with all course participants no matter what their background. Her priority with any group or individual is to always maintain a positive, collaborative atmosphere and ensure all learning outcomes are achieved.
Her philosophy is that training, no matter what the topic, should be motivational, enjoyable, cost effective and most of all beneficial. Roy McNiven is a highly focused and accomplished corporate executive working in the upstream oil and gas industry as Vice President, Aftermarket Sales and Services and Supply Chain. Roy brings over 15 years of international and domestic experience successfully managing and building diverse teams across a multitude of geographies and disciplines in middle to executive management roles.
Roy’s expertise ranges from developing and directing successful business development strategies, to executive level operations management and level P&L management, building teams and organizations, and product commercialization.
Roy holds an Executive MBA from the University of Athabasca Canada along with a number of leadership certifications and trainings including attending GILD (Global Institute for Leadership Development by Phil Harkins) twice.
As a leader, Roy’s passion is in developing teams and individuals, working to understand the unique drivers and aspirations of individuals and providing coaching and mentoring to attain their fullest potential. Jill offers clients expertise gained from a rich and diverse career, based in Australia and USA, in local government, the private sector (Hassell Pty Ltd) and in building her own successful businesses. Jill’s most recent career success was transitioning from a leadership position in recreation and sport planning and development at the Adelaide City Council to an Arbonne Independent Consultant. In this role she has achieved the management level of Executive Regional Vice President and influences an organisation of 100's of consultants. The success of Jill’s team can be attributed to her relentless commitment to delivering first class team training, coaching and mentoring.
Jill is motivated by playing a part in others’ success. She sees potential in all she meets and is a driver to help them realise this potential and achieve more than they felt possible. She is continually looking for new ways to help clients grow and to invest in their own growth.
The contribution Jill makes in the community is also significant. One of her main motivations for going into business for herself was to position herself to make a greater contribution in the community. She is the founder of the charity ‘Lillie's Books’, providing books and an important mother/ child bonding experience for families escaping domestic violence situations.
